Actually, my embedding code doesn't work, so I'll find a link, I guess.
I've found two really excelent werewolf books lately:
The Blooding (fiction)
Author: Patricia Windsor
C. 1996
Back cover:
Night forest, this is where I belong,
Your dark shadow child moving
Through the spaces between trees, knowing
Your every scent, dear forest, wet earth,
Mother of my wild heart...
My humanness has scampered away like
A frightened toad. This knowledge of who
I am now plows me, deepens me, pushes me
Through time. I know everything.
I know where fox and deer have walked,
Where turtle crawled, where badger crept.
I know the happiness of the hunt.
Doesn't that sound way too cool? It's so awesome. A bit creepy at times, though, so if you have low tolerence for that kind of stuff, watch out.
Blood and Chocolate
Author: Annette Curtis Klause
C. 1997
Inside cover:
Her laugh turned to a moan at the first ripple in her bones. She tensed her thighs and abdomen to will the change on, and clutched the night air like a lover as her fingers lengthened and her nails sprouted. Her blood churned with heat like desire.
The night, she thought, the sweet night.
Vivian Gandillon relishes the change, the sweet, feirce ache that carries her from girl to wolf. At sixteen, she is beautiful and strong, and all the young wolves howl for her. But Vivian still grieves for her dead father; her pack is in dissaray, and she feel lonely and lost. She longs for a normal life.
But what is normal for a werewolf?
Then Vivian falls in love with a human, a meat-boy. Aiden is kind and gentle, a welcome relief from the squabbling pack, and Vivian longs to reaveal herself to him. Surely he would understand her and delight in her dual nature, not fear her as an ordinary human would. Vivian's loyalties are devided further when a brutal murder threatens to expose the pack Moving between two worlds, she does not seem to belong in either. What is she really - human or beast?
Gutsy and gorgeous, Vivian will cast her spell over readers in Annette Curtis Klause's fast paced, sensuous story infused with moonlit magic.
This has got to be in my top ten books. I love it so much. =)
I also read two really awesome realistic fiction books in the past few days. I don't have time to go on and on, but the first is called 'The Queen of Dreamland' and the second is 'Blind Faith'. They're really wicked. The Queen of Dreamland is about a mother and adopted child being re-united, and what happens through all of that, and Blind Faith is basically a story of loss, but it's also really romantic, so if you like either, you'll like this. And even though you don't really get to know either character who dies very well, you might still cry over it.
Okay, well, I've gotta go now, so see you later.

This one's cute:

I like this one a lot. You have to look hard now, come on! I love these kinds of things. =)

This is a cool banner I spotted. I'M A TOTAL LOVER, TOO!!!

This is an Andalite, for those of you who don't know Animorphs. Obviously, Andalites aren't exactly from this planet.
They're usually not mean or agressive, but they all have different personalities. I'm not quite sure who this is...

This one's just cool. That's all I've got to say.

This is a Hork Bajir, also from Animorphs, and also not from Earth. Don't worry, if they aren't controlled by a Yeerk, they're nice. They eat bark, if that tells you anything. That's what the blades are for.

Once more, just way cool. Enough said.

This one's sweet. It's Fang and Angel. I found it on DeviantART. He's good with the younger ones, I think. Even if he's not exactly lovey dovey. Or touchy-feely. Or emotional. =)

This one just made me crack up. *snorts with laughter* Fang's - glittery ... *bursts into laughter*
+Unicorn+Of+Happiness.gif)
I like this one. It's cool, don't you think? Even if that yellow creeps me out a little. =)

COME ON! LET'S GO!!! Join Fang's army!

This one's hilarious. But true. And quoted! (That's my favorite part...)

Max is cool. We all know this. This has got to be my favorite Max Ride picture EVER.

Now this one's just awesome. I have no further comments.

This is very awesome. I like the purple.

This one I find wickedly cool.

This is so funny. And it fits about ten thousand girls out here on the net.

This one's a quote. That's your cue to go, 'No duh'. =)

This one's really cool. It's an actual painting. Isn't it amazing?

This one's wicked awesome. Broken hearts are, like, my trademark; I put them on everything, usually right after my name.

If any of these belong to you, I'm really sorry I don't have names on here... I kinda forgot where everything came from.
So if you have a problem, just tell me your name and which one's yours, and I'll stick it on here. =)
I've started drawing pictures of the Flock, and so far I have Max and Fang. I'll try and scan them when I'm done so maybe you can see them...? If you feel like it, anyway.
Oh, yeah, I found out the name for those two songs: Track 10 is called 'I Won't Be There' and 11 is called 'One Day'. They're way cool. I like 'Worst Day Ever', too. =)

Whoa. Your happy glow. It's blinding.
Fang said that. =)
Anyway, the album's called 'No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls', and it's actually really good! There's two I have to skip though, 'God Must Hate Me', which says 'something-something-something ef-ing H-E double hockey sticks' in the chorus, and makes me sad. Also, 'My Christmas List', which says something about... um, well it's suggestive, that's all. Not bad, or anything, just not good.
So I'm skipping those two. But track ten and eleven rock! I don't know what they're called right now, but I'm going to look them up soon.
But here's a little quote from one of them:
'Everything I say,
You find a way
To make it sound like I was
born just yesterday
I don't wanna hurt you,
and you don't wanna hurt me
I can't stand you,
And you can't stand me
We can't rearrange
You can never change
Say goodbye, nothing I
Say can change your mind'
I put up a new screensaver. It used to be text (It said 'Max Ride rocks') but I've changed it to picture slide-show. I made a new folder and put a whole bunch of Max Ride, Animorphs, and Simple Plan pics in it, so now when my screensaver comes on, it's pictures of my favorite things. It's actually not bad.
If you happen to be reading my werewolf story, be aware that I am re-writing, so it'll be a while until I update.

Simple Plan ~ I'm Just a kid
Simple Plan rocks! You're probably getting tired of them, but I'm not. So be forwarned, they will keep coming. =)
The only thing I don't like is that they swear in THIS song. This is the only one, too! WHY?! I love it so much!
'And maybe when the night is dead
I'll crawl into my bed
I'm staring at these four walls again
I'll try to think about the last time
I had a good time
Everyone's got somewhere to go
And their gonna leave me here on my own...'
Well, I like it. So whatever.

Simple Plan - I'd Do Anything
'Together, we broke all the rules,
dreamin of dropping out of School...'
Sound familiar?
'I'd do anything
just to hold you in my arms
to try and make you laugh
I'd do anything
just to fall asleep with you...'
I am totally making a songfic out of this.
It could be used for major Fax, yes?

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. =)
Guess what? I am offically CPR and first aid certified.
Cool, huh? I was sooo nervous about it. I had to take a written test, and even though it was multiple choice, I was still freaking out because I'm not used to it. But I only missed one question out of twenty. (She said you were allowed to miss five and still pass.)
Plus, I was actually supposed to be sixteen, but they didn't ask how old I was over the phone, so when my troop leaders (I went with my Girl Scout troop leaders, and a few other leaders, for one of my badges) handed me a peice of paper to take notes on, which the instructor was passing around, the instructor looked at me and went 'Is she taking the test, too?'. I was so freaked out at that point. Yikes. Then she looks at one of my leaders and says, 'She's supposed to be sixteen,' and I could feel my heart sinking. It was so scary.
But anyway, I'm certified because they're allowed to certify people as young as twelve. So I felt better about that. She said as long as I could pass the test and I knew enough she would certify me.
We had to practice on dummys, which was a bit weird, even though we didn't have to touch our mouths to it, because they don't have legs or arms. It's like the torso of a person.
The scariest part, though, was that we also had to practice CPR and the Heimlic on infants. It was so terrifying to think about having to do that for A baby, let alone YOURS, you know?
Plus, for CPR, you have to push on their chest with TWO fingers, because they're so small... It's so scary. For when their choking, you have to pound on their backs five times, then turn them over and push on their chests with two fingers five times, then repeat until they're "Up, down, or out.", up being out of them, down being they swallowed it, and out being they've passed out.
It was SO SCARY. I mean to see an INFANT there, you know? They're so tiny...
Oh well. I'm sure all the girls will understand me.
Today, I am thirteen. I'm a teenager now!
My parents and my aunt and uncle gave me a desk, a paper tray, a pencil cup, and a really pretty lamp, and my sister gave me a pair of gardening gloves and two packets of seeds, one for peas and the other for hybrid spinach.
Then my mum and my sister gave me a braided rug that they made themselves. (They stole one of my books to know how to do it properly. =]) The fabric was from my old comforter that one of my dogs, Raider, had been chewing on so it was all torn and stuff. Really cool, though. I loved it. =)
It's weird how you don't feel any older on your birthday, you know? Like, I still feel like I'm twelve even though I'm not.
Anyway, I've got to go now. =)
Hopefully my super-long post made up for exactly one month of nothing.
