Simple Plan - Crazy (Acoustic)

Is this amazing or no?

(If you say no... I'll... uh, do something. Maybe.)

THe acoustic version of 'Crazy' is totally sweet, don't you think?

*...I guess things are not how they used to be
There's no more normal families
Parents act like enimies
Making kids feel like it's World War III
No one cares
No one's there
I guess we're all just too (dang) busy
And money's our first priority
It doesn't make sense to me...*

This is an awesome song. This is the band that most of Simple Plan was in before they were Simple Plan. I think it's cool.

WHY MEN ARE NEVER DEPRESSED:

Men Are Just Happier People

What do you expect from such simple creatures?

Your last name stays put.

The garage is all yours.

Wedding plans take care of themselves.

Chocolate is just another snack.

You can be President.

You can never be pregnant.

You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park.

You can wear NO shirt to a water park.

Car mechanics tell you the truth.

The world is your urinal.

You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky.

You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt.

Same work, more pay.

Wrinkles add character

Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental $100.

People never stare at your chest when you are talking to them.

The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected.

New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet.

You have one mood all the time.

Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.

You know stuff about tanks and tools.

A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.

You can open all your own jars.

You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness.

If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.

Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack.

Three pairs of shoes are more than enough,.

You almost never have strap problems in public.

You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes.

Everything on your face stays its original color.

The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades.

You only have to shave your face and neck.

You can play with toys all your life.

Your belly usually hides your big hips.

One wallet and one pair of shoes -- in one color for all seasons.

You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look.

You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife.

You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.

You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24th in 25 minutes.

No wonder men are happier.

Send this to the women who can handle it... and to the men who will enjoy reading it.

You know it's funny. You know it.

I made this. Try it and tell me what you think. In case you haven't noticed, it's an entirely loup-garou puzzle... all of the words are about werewolves.

Actually, my embedding code doesn't work, so I'll find a link, I guess.

I've found two really excelent werewolf books lately:

The Blooding (fiction)

Author: Patricia Windsor

C. 1996

Back cover:

Night forest, this is where I belong,
Your dark shadow child moving
Through the spaces between trees, knowing
Your every scent, dear forest, wet earth,
Mother of my wild heart...

My humanness has scampered away like
A frightened toad. This knowledge of who
I am now plows me, deepens me, pushes me
Through time. I know everything.
I know where fox and deer have walked,
Where turtle crawled, where badger crept.
I know the happiness of the hunt.

Doesn't that sound way too cool? It's so awesome. A bit creepy at times, though, so if you have low tolerence for that kind of stuff, watch out.

Blood and Chocolate

Author: Annette Curtis Klause

C. 1997

Inside cover:

Her laugh turned to a moan at the first ripple in her bones. She tensed her thighs and abdomen to will the change on, and clutched the night air like a lover as her fingers lengthened and her nails sprouted. Her blood churned with heat like desire.
The night, she thought, the sweet night.

Vivian Gandillon relishes the change, the sweet, feirce ache that carries her from girl to wolf. At sixteen, she is beautiful and strong, and all the young wolves howl for her. But Vivian still grieves for her dead father; her pack is in dissaray, and she feel lonely and lost. She longs for a normal life.
But what is normal for a werewolf?
Then Vivian falls in love with a human, a meat-boy. Aiden is kind and gentle, a welcome relief from the squabbling pack, and Vivian longs to reaveal herself to him. Surely he would understand her and delight in her dual nature, not fear her as an ordinary human would. Vivian's loyalties are devided further when a brutal murder threatens to expose the pack Moving between two worlds, she does not seem to belong in either. What is she really - human or beast?
Gutsy and gorgeous, Vivian will cast her spell over readers in Annette Curtis Klause's fast paced, sensuous story infused with moonlit magic.

This has got to be in my top ten books. I love it so much. =)

I also read two really awesome realistic fiction books in the past few days. I don't have time to go on and on, but the first is called 'The Queen of Dreamland' and the second is 'Blind Faith'. They're really wicked. The Queen of Dreamland is about a mother and adopted child being re-united, and what happens through all of that, and Blind Faith is basically a story of loss, but it's also really romantic, so if you like either, you'll like this. And even though you don't really get to know either character who dies very well, you might still cry over it.

Okay, well, I've gotta go now, so see you later.

Hey everyone! Okay, so these are some of the pics in my screensaver. They're mostly Max Ride stuff, as you can see, but there's also some Animorphs and Simple Plan stuff. I got 99.9 % of it from Photo Bucket, but some of the drawings I got from DeviantART.

This one's cute:

I like this one a lot. You have to look hard now, come on! I love these kinds of things. =)

This is a cool banner I spotted. I'M A TOTAL LOVER, TOO!!!

This is an Andalite, for those of you who don't know Animorphs. Obviously, Andalites aren't exactly from this planet.

They're usually not mean or agressive, but they all have different personalities. I'm not quite sure who this is...

This one's just cool. That's all I've got to say.

This is a Hork Bajir, also from Animorphs, and also not from Earth. Don't worry, if they aren't controlled by a Yeerk, they're nice. They eat bark, if that tells you anything. That's what the blades are for.

Once more, just way cool. Enough said.

This one's sweet. It's Fang and Angel. I found it on DeviantART. He's good with the younger ones, I think. Even if he's not exactly lovey dovey. Or touchy-feely. Or emotional. =)

This one just made me crack up. *snorts with laughter* Fang's - glittery ... *bursts into laughter*

I like this one. It's cool, don't you think? Even if that yellow creeps me out a little. =)

COME ON! LET'S GO!!! Join Fang's army!

This one's hilarious. But true. And quoted! (That's my favorite part...)

Max is cool. We all know this. This has got to be my favorite Max Ride picture EVER.

Now this one's just awesome. I have no further comments.

This is very awesome. I like the purple.

This one I find wickedly cool.

This is so funny. And it fits about ten thousand girls out here on the net.

This one's a quote. That's your cue to go, 'No duh'. =)

This one's really cool. It's an actual painting. Isn't it amazing?

This one's wicked awesome. Broken hearts are, like, my trademark; I put them on everything, usually right after my name.

If any of these belong to you, I'm really sorry I don't have names on here... I kinda forgot where everything came from.

So if you have a problem, just tell me your name and which one's yours, and I'll stick it on here. =)

I've started drawing pictures of the Flock, and so far I have Max and Fang. I'll try and scan them when I'm done so maybe you can see them...? If you feel like it, anyway.

Oh, yeah, I found out the name for those two songs: Track 10 is called 'I Won't Be There' and 11 is called 'One Day'. They're way cool. I like 'Worst Day Ever', too. =)

I'm so psyched! My dad finally burned Simple Plan's other album for me, and I'm happy.

Whoa. Your happy glow. It's blinding.

Fang said that. =)

Anyway, the album's called 'No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls', and it's actually really good! There's two I have to skip though, 'God Must Hate Me', which says 'something-something-something ef-ing H-E double hockey sticks' in the chorus, and makes me sad. Also, 'My Christmas List', which says something about... um, well it's suggestive, that's all. Not bad, or anything, just not good.

So I'm skipping those two. But track ten and eleven rock! I don't know what they're called right now, but I'm going to look them up soon.

But here's a little quote from one of them:

'Everything I say,

You find a way

To make it sound like I was

born just yesterday

I don't wanna hurt you,

and you don't wanna hurt me

I can't stand you,

And you can't stand me

We can't rearrange

You can never change

Say goodbye, nothing I

Say can change your mind'

I put up a new screensaver. It used to be text (It said 'Max Ride rocks') but I've changed it to picture slide-show. I made a new folder and put a whole bunch of Max Ride, Animorphs, and Simple Plan pics in it, so now when my screensaver comes on, it's pictures of my favorite things. It's actually not bad.

If you happen to be reading my werewolf story, be aware that I am re-writing, so it'll be a while until I update.

Simple Plan ~ I'm Just a kid

Simple Plan rocks! You're probably getting tired of them, but I'm not. So be forwarned, they will keep coming. =)

The only thing I don't like is that they swear in THIS song. This is the only one, too! WHY?! I love it so much!

'And maybe when the night is dead
I'll crawl into my bed
I'm staring at these four walls again
I'll try to think about the last time
I had a good time
Everyone's got somewhere to go
And their gonna leave me here on my own...'

Well, I like it. So whatever.

Simple Plan - I'd Do Anything

'Together, we broke all the rules,
dreamin of dropping out of School...'

Sound familiar?

'I'd do anything
just to hold you in my arms
to try and make you laugh
I'd do anything
just to fall asleep with you...'

I am totally making a songfic out of this.

It could be used for major Fax, yes?

September 9, 2007

Hey, everyone.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. =)

Guess what? I am offically CPR and first aid certified.

Cool, huh? I was sooo nervous about it. I had to take a written test, and even though it was multiple choice, I was still freaking out because I'm not used to it. But I only missed one question out of twenty. (She said you were allowed to miss five and still pass.)

Plus, I was actually supposed to be sixteen, but they didn't ask how old I was over the phone, so when my troop leaders (I went with my Girl Scout troop leaders, and a few other leaders, for one of my badges) handed me a peice of paper to take notes on, which the instructor was passing around, the instructor looked at me and went 'Is she taking the test, too?'. I was so freaked out at that point. Yikes. Then she looks at one of my leaders and says, 'She's supposed to be sixteen,' and I could feel my heart sinking. It was so scary.

But anyway, I'm certified because they're allowed to certify people as young as twelve. So I felt better about that. She said as long as I could pass the test and I knew enough she would certify me.

We had to practice on dummys, which was a bit weird, even though we didn't have to touch our mouths to it, because they don't have legs or arms. It's like the torso of a person.

The scariest part, though, was that we also had to practice CPR and the Heimlic on infants. It was so terrifying to think about having to do that for A baby, let alone YOURS, you know?

Plus, for CPR, you have to push on their chest with TWO fingers, because they're so small... It's so scary. For when their choking, you have to pound on their backs five times, then turn them over and push on their chests with two fingers five times, then repeat until they're "Up, down, or out.", up being out of them, down being they swallowed it, and out being they've passed out.

It was SO SCARY. I mean to see an INFANT there, you know? They're so tiny...

Oh well. I'm sure all the girls will understand me.

Today, I am thirteen. I'm a teenager now!

My parents and my aunt and uncle gave me a desk, a paper tray, a pencil cup, and a really pretty lamp, and my sister gave me a pair of gardening gloves and two packets of seeds, one for peas and the other for hybrid spinach.

Then my mum and my sister gave me a braided rug that they made themselves. (They stole one of my books to know how to do it properly. =]) The fabric was from my old comforter that one of my dogs, Raider, had been chewing on so it was all torn and stuff. Really cool, though. I loved it. =)

It's weird how you don't feel any older on your birthday, you know? Like, I still feel like I'm twelve even though I'm not.

Anyway, I've got to go now. =)

Hopefully my super-long post made up for exactly one month of nothing.

Mrs. Weasley's Wicked Awesome!

Hey.
You guys all know Mrs. Weasley, right?

Well, I kind of invision myself a bit like her in the future, minus the wand. Because she:

(a) Has a big family. I have always wanted a large family. I will most likely have two or three of my kids myself, and I want to foster as many as I can handle.

(b) Is the kind of mother we all want. =) (By the way, Mum, if you read this, I like you better =P)

(c) She's really nice (except when she's mad at you). Kind of like me.

(d) The Burrow? Even though it's not exactly a farm, it's close. Remember the chickens scratching around, and the big garden (with or without the gnomes), and the 'old Wellington boots' around the door? I love that.

In short, Molly Weasley is awesome. Honestly. How many of you think you could be her? I couldn't.

I mean, we have similarities, but I could NEVER handle what she does on a regular basis. =)

July 31, 2007

Hey! Guess what? I finally got my hands on a Simple Plan album! I've been listening to it on youtube, but I convinced my dad to burn it for me. Since it was burned, I got Perfect on their album Still Not Getting Any..., also, which rocks, since that's like, one of my favorite songs EVER.

Yes. So I haven't been on in a while. I've been driving my family insane with my super-loud music. That is a very time consuming task, so I have not kept my promise yet. But I am now, even if I have to write nonsense for an hour to make this long enough.

I found a new band that I like, too. The All American Rejects. And they rock. I like Move Along the best. It's pretty wicked. You should check out the official music vid on youtube. It rocks.

So, I spent about an hour last night taping things all over my door. I put all of the lyrics to Crazy (Simple Plan) on it, and I put a few pictures I like on there as well. One of which was that super-hot shirtless winged dude you can find on Photo Bucket. He reminds me of Fang. Which tells you why he is on my door. I also put some quotes, and one of the smaller entries from Fang's Blog:

'If you knew something so big it could change the world, what would you do?
Warn or prevent?

Darn moral dilemmas.'

Then I put that pic of the little animated Fang, you know, the 'if it's roasted, he'll eat it' one? It's so cute. I also quoted Adam from Mythbusters:

'I reject your reality and substitute my own.'

I love that quote. Then I put this one ad from Friends of Animals up there. It has a picture of a raccoon, a fox and a lynx all with human hair styles on their heads. Like, the lynx has a pixy cut. It's really kind of creepy.
Then it says below them, You look just as stupid wearing theirs.
It's really very funny.

Speaking of which, I found this poem the other day. It's a limerick, so it should be pretty amusing. I dunno how you'll take it, but I thought it was good:

Said an envious, erudite ermine,
"There's one thing I cannot determine.
When a man wears my coat,
he's a person of note,
while I'm but a species of vermin."

I forgot who wrote it, exactly, but it really wasn't me. Okay?

Hang on. I'm getting way too used to putting disclaimers on everything. I'm doing it off of fanfiction.net. Yikes.

Oh. Speaking of which, I've got to go write my next chapter. It's supposed to be really Faxy, so my readers are waiting with bated breath. Yeah right. Look, just let me live in my fantasy, okay? Will it kill you?

;)

Simple Plan - Perfect

Here it is! It's -well- it's Perfect, I guess.

Hiya! You know, I think my schedual is seriously out of whack. I woke up at eleven yesterday, after falling asleep at about one 'o clock, (put your hands up for homeschooling, people!) and last night I fell asleep at approximatly midnight, and woke up at six. Why is that? The day before yesterday, I woke up at nine. I have roller-coaster sleeping habits. Dunno why, exactly....

Whatever.

That's not why I'm posting. I've been reading fan fiction lately, (and writing it) and I found this cool story for all of you LotR/SW/PotC/MR fans. Also, if you find the Geico Gecko cute, go here. It's called the Talkshow of Insanity, and it's written by an e-friend of mine, ~SeA~. *Looks up*
Oh! Looky! I found a link! It's pretty and blue (or purple if you've already clicked)! Look! Look! You should click it!

Ahhhhhhhh! My link thingy isn't working! I guess you'll just have to paste the address....Stupid link, grumble mumble....

Also, I found this wicked cool band awhile ago, Simple Plan, you should check out a video. Ah! I'll put one on my next post. Now I've just got to decide if I want to do Perfect, Welcome to my Life, or Shut Up. Hm. I think I'll do Perfect. Now I'll say bye and go find that wicked cool vid, alright? By the way, check out that link while I go find Perfect, and I'll give you a cookie, okay?

July 23, 2007

Hey. Has anyone seen the Pirates of the Caribbean at all? I just saw PotC: At World's End, and I was wondering if anyone at all liked it? I mean, I liked it. It was probably my favorite one. I did not like the Dead Man's Chest at all. But whatever. The point is, if you've seen it, then you can rant with me about the whole Will Turner stabbing the heart and all that. I was so upset. I mean. come on! What's Elizabeth supposed to do now, exactly? Wait on an island for ten years and see him for one (count it, one) day? Ug. But really. I liked the way they got married though. So sweet. But not the most romantic place, if you ask me. Especially with the blood and guts and rain-water flying all over the place.
But at least they left it open for a next one. Too many holes, right? (Let's just hang on to our threads of hope, people)

Oh, yeah. And if you haven't seen it, I was just kidding about all of that. None of it really happened. *Waves pocket watch in front of eyes and says in creepy voice: You never saw this. It never happened....*

Ahem:

'It was like hypnotizing a cat.'
